The Culture House offers a permanent Reading Room with over 5 thousand available publications ranging from mangas to geographic maps. The space promotes the literary universe through initiatives that awaken the public’s interest, thus stimulating the social valuing of reading and writing. Together with the community, the House develops actions meant to make the act of reading more pleasant and playful, such as the Reading Club, Storytelling to children and teenagers, and the socialization of adults. In addition to this, the House also produces cycles of lectures related to the exhibitions held by the House as well as book launches of local writers.

The room is open from Mondays to Fridays, from 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
